What happens if I do not pass The NI Revalidation online exam?

If you have taken the exam at one of the NI Accredited Training Centres, and have failed to achieve the required pass mark of 70% at the first attempt, you are allowed to have another two attempts within six months of the first; however, the second attempt must be undertaken within 96 hours of the first.  If all three attempts are failed, you will need to complete the Revalidation course and undertake the exam again.

If you have taken the remotely invigilated NI Revalidation online exam and have failed to achieve the required pass mark of 70% at the first attempt, you are allowed to have another two attempts within six months of the first.  When the exam is failed, you will receive an email from TestReach telling you to contact us at testreach@nautinst.org to schedule your next attempt.   If all three attempts are failed, you will need to complete the Revalidation course at a NI Accredited training centre and undertake the exam again.
