If I revalidate after my certificate has already expired, will my new certificate still be valid for five years?

Once you have submitted your application with all requirements having been completed, any certificate subsequently issued will have an expiry date of no more than five years from the expiry date on the previous certificate.

DPO's wishing to revalidate an expired certificate may only do so if the certificate expired within the previous three years at the time of submitting their online application.  If your certificate expired more than 3 years ago, you should contact the Qualifications Team by emailing dp@nautinst.org
