Timeline for completion of the Training Schemes

Each of the Nautical Institutes DP Training Schemes has to be completed within a set time frame. Please see below for the completion time for each of the schemes.

  • Offshore Training Scheme - 5 years
  • Shuttle Tanker Training Scheme - 5 years
  • Self-Elevating Platform scheme - 5 years
  • DP Vessel Maintainer Scheme - 2 years

 For all of the Training schemes, the time is counted from the date the Induction course has been passed, and ends with the date that the Suitability form has been signed.
